Summary:

The development of photo converters and detectors, as for LIDAR, diffractive optical elements, solar cells, and other technologies, requires reducing the size of devices pushing the limit of laser fabrication tools and challenging established processes. LAB provides the most effective alternative to optimise and simulate multiple scenarios that would otherwise require many iterations to improve experimentally. Particularly, LAB includes the Laser simulation module that allows importing a range of layouts and the simulation of several conditions which permits boosting the lithography processes from the first try.

This Laser webinar intends to introduce the public to the capabilities of LAB Laser module using some simple, yet important examples. Moreover, LAB is available for other techniques: proximity and projection lithography.
